Mission Serve exists to strengthen neighborhoods and improve the lives of individuals by working to eliminate sub-standard housing through volunteerism and community involvement. We strongly believe that it is through changing the world of the volunteer that the world itself will be changed.
Mission Serve believes that God is the Creator of heaven and earth. God's only Son is Jesus Christ and that our only way to eternal life is through faith in Christ. We believe that the Bible is God's Word and that it is inspired by the Holy Spirit and it is our guidebook for daily living. We believe in the power of prayer and try to walk in unison with God daily. We feel that our work is God's work and that each of us has a calling to ministry. We believe that we are involved in something bigger than ourselves, and that we are blessed to be part of what God is doing in the lives of people and in the world.
Honesty —We will be honest in our dealings with other people and organizations.
Integrity —We will do the right thing even when no one is watching.
Creativity —We will challenge each other to be creative in our approaches to ministry.
Community —We will recognize the value and place emphasis on relationships among the
people we service and in the communities we serve.
Inclusion —Whenever possible, and in keeping with you goals, mission's and faith
statements, we will be inclusive rather than exclusive in our approach to
people and organizations. Financial Accountability —We will be good stewards of the money that has been
entrusted to us and hold each other financially accountable.
